VDA 6.1

Certification according to VDA 6.1 is oriented to quality management systems of suppliers providing mass production for the automotive industry. Today it is only recognised to a limited extent in Europe, mainly by suppliers to the German automotive industry.

The VDA 6.1 certification is gradually being phased out and is being replaced by the globally recognised IATF 16949 certification.
